DocRefGen doesn’t collect, store, or sell your data. It runs entirely in your browser.
DocRefGen is a Chrome extension that generates reference numbers for Google Docs and optionally logs them to a Google Sheet you own.
To do its job, the extension accesses:
This access happens via the official Google Docs and Google Sheets APIs, using your own Google account credentials.
storage.sync API. Nobody else can read this.DocRefGen uses Google APIs (Docs and Sheets). Your use of those APIs is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
Only you. The extension writes to documents and sheets that belong to your Google account. The developer has no access to your documents, sheets, or any data generated by the extension.
If anything changes, this file will be updated with a new date at the top. Since the extension doesn’t collect data, there’s not much that can change.
